•Added to the Report Designer in Version 19, Vertical Bands allow you to arrange data records horizontally in reports.
•There are three new types of report bands: Vertical Detail, Vertical Header, and Vertical Total.
•When you use these vertical bands, the record fields will be arranged vertically, while the records are rendered horizontally left to right, as if you have rotated a traditional banded report 90 degrees so that rows become columns and columns become rows.
•NOTE: When you insert a Vertical Band into a report, if your report already has a Detail Band with report controls, you will receive a warning that this band and its controls will be lost in the conversion from horizontal to vertical layout.
