•Under Setup > CRM > Relations, you define the different types of relationships that exist between CRM Contacts, which can be particularly useful for illustrating the connections between event attendees.
1.Start a new record or edit an existing record under the Relations tab.
2.The Setup Contact Relation edit form opens.
3.Item Code: Enter a name for this type of relationship.
4.Description: The description will initially default to the item code, but you can change it, if you wish.
5.Relationship Type: Select the applicable pre-set Relationship Type from the drop-down list: Spouse, Parent, Child, Sibling, or Other.
The Relationship Types "Spouse" and "Child" are particularly important, as they will cause a Contact's Spouse Name and Child Names fields to be auto-populated. See CRM > Add New Contact > Personal.
6.When you're done creating or editing the record, click Save and Close.
