•Once a Lead contacts you to inquire about an event booking, your "To-Do" List starts building up immediately.
•One of the first things you need to do is create a Follow-up Task, i.e. a reminder to check in with the Lead and/or Opportunity and see if you can move closer to booking the event.
•You can start your new Task from several different places, but if the Task is related to a specific Lead or Opportunity, you will probably find it most convenient to start from that Lead or Opportunity. If you do, the Lead and/or Opportunity's information will automatically default into the Task's Linked To fields.
oFor a Lead, go to CRM/Sales > Leads > Leads List, open the related Lead, and go to its Tasks tab.
oFor an Opportunity, go to CRM/Sales > Opportunities > Opportunities List, open the related Opportunity, and go to its Tasks tab.
•Start a new record from within the Lead or Opportunity's Tasks tab.
•A Task edit form will appear.
•From here, you can follow the directions under Task Management > Create Task to create Tasks related to managing your Leads and Opportunities.
