•Since the EventPro 18 update, Reports look the same, but there has been a significant behind-the-scenes change with the replacement of the Report module.
•Reports were previously defined by "Data Type", but they now use Collection Data Sources.
•Rather than retrieving all available data and filtering what is visible in the report, a Collection Data Source applies the filtering criteria as it retrieves the data from SQL, limiting how much data must be retrieved. With less data to retrieve, the reports run faster.
•You can still set additional filters on the report, but those will be applied after the initial filtering of the Collection Data Source.
