Figure 1039: Accommodations Sequence Numbers
Reservation Numbers are a separate field from Confirmation Numbers.
•Reservation Numbers are used in the Lodging Module, which manages bookings at internal lodging facilities. You will only see the Reservation # field if you have the Lodging Module.
•Reservation Numbers are not used in the Accommodations Module, which manages attendee bookings at external accommodations.
Enter the number you want EventPro to begin with when assigning Accommodation (Lodging) Reservation Numbers.
You can continue from your pre-EventPro reservation numbering system, or if you want to start over, enter the number 1 (one).
As noted above, Confirmation Numbers are a separate field from Reservation Numbers.
•Confirmation Numbers are used for both the Lodging Module and Accommodation Module, so you will see the Confirmation # field if you have either of those modules.
If you want EventPro to auto-generate Confirmation Numbers for lodging/accommodation reservations, select this checkbox. The related fields below (Next Confirmation #, Confirmation Prefix, and Confirmation # Length) will be activated.
Leave this checkbox unselected if you want to be able to manually enter Confirmation Numbers for Accommodations.
If you selected the Auto Assign Confirmation #'s checkbox above, enter the starting number of the Accommodation Confirmation numbering sequence.
If you selected the Auto Assign Confirmation #'s checkbox above, enter a prefix that will be added to the beginning of each Accommodation Confirmation number.
If you selected the Auto Assign Confirmation #'s checkbox above, enter the number of digits that EventPro will use for each Accommodation Confirmation number (not including the Prefix).
Leading zeros will be added to lengthen the number to the correct size. For example:
•Confirmation #7 with the Prefix "A" and # Length = 5 would be A00007.
•Confirmation #7 with the Prefix "CA" and # Length = 10 would be CA0000000007.
