Budget Override Groups

Go to Setup > Financial > Budget Override Groups.

A Budget Override Group is a set of special Budget Items that override regular Budget Items for select Financial Subgroups when the specified Event Category is assigned to the event.

In other words, you are creating a set of alternate budget items that will override standard budget items for events of certain categories. For example, if you manage both internal and external events in one booking system, you could create different budget override groups that apply different budget items depending on whether the event is internal or external.

 

Much like setting up your Budget earlier, creating Budget Override Groups requires two steps:

Create Setup Budget Override Group

Add Setup Budget Override Items to Group
