•As noted earlier, some of the LinkedTo fields may already be filled in, depending on where you started the email.
1.Event: If you started the communication email from an Event, the Event will already appear in this field. If not - or if you want to choose a different Event - you can use the drop-down Find to search for and select the appropriate Event.
2.Opportunity: Similarly, if you started the communication email from an Opportunity, the Opportunity will already appear in this field. Otherwise, you can use the drop-down Find to search for and select the appropriate Opportunity.
3.Linked To Type: Depending on where you started this Communication Email, the Linked To Type will probably already be set. For example, if you just selected an Event and/or Opportunity above, the Linked To Type will default to Account. However, you can also manually select the Linked To Type from the drop-down list: None, Lead, Account, (Company or Contact), Attendee, Exhibitor, User, or User Group.
4.Linked Record: The name of this field will vary, depending on what you selected for the Linked To Type.
a.If you selected the "Lead" Linked To Type, this will be the Lead field. Select the Lead to which you want this email linked.
b.If you selected the "Account" Linked To Type, this will be the Account field. Choose the Account (the Company or Contact) to which this email will be linked.
c.If you selected "Attendee" or "Exhibitor" as the Linked To Type, you will also need to select a linked Event that contains Attendees or Exhibitors in order to populate the Attendee or Exhibitor drop-down. Select the relevant linked-to Event Attendee or Event Exhibitor.
d.If you selected the "User" Linked To Type, this will be the User field, which will be populated by the Security Users set up in EventPro. Select the User to which you want this email linked.
e.If you selected the "User Group" Linked To Type, this will be the User Group field, which will be populated by the Security User Groups created in EventPro Security Setup. Select the User Group to which you want this email linked.
