Under the Attendee Setup Registration Group Rates tab, you can create default charges that will apply to attendee registration groups (a.k.a. attendee event registration packages).

When you later apply these Registration Group Rates to event attendee registration groups, you will be able to customize them as required.
These Setup Attendee Registration Group Rates are simply defaults intended to save time, instead of creating new registration group rates for each event.
You may have noticed that you can also define Function Rates under Attendee Setup. To learn more about the relationship between Registration Group Rates and Function Rates, see Function & Registration Group Rates.
