EPConnect Account Request Form Fields

Scroll Prev Top Next More

By default, the Account Request Page Definition will already contain the fields necessary for the online account request process. You do not need to edit the form fields if you are satisfied with the defaults.

However, if you want to collect additional information from the requester, you can add other form fields.

1.In the Account Request Area Definition, under the Page Definitions tab, double-click the Account Request Page record to open the Account Request Page Definition.

2.In the Account Request Page Definition edit form, go to the Form Fields Groups tab. By default, there will already be an "Account Information" Form Field Group.

3.If you want to add another Form Field Group, start a new record under the Form Fields Groups tab. You can review information about adding, editing, and deleting Form Field Groups under Overview > Form Field Groups.

4.You can then add Form Fields to your new Form Field Group, or you can add more fields to the existing Account Information Form Field Group.

Double-click the Account Information Form Field Group record to open its edit form. You will note that there are already default Form Fields in the group: First Name, Last Name, Login User Name, and Primary Email.

5.To add a new Form Field to the group, click the New button in the Form Fields grid.

6.You can then select the Field from the drop-down, and adjust the other settings. To review how to add and edit Form Fields, see Overview > Form Fields.

7.When you are done editing the form fields, you can Save and Close the Form Field Group.

8.If you are done with the Account Request Page Definition and Area Definition altogether, you can Save and Close each edit form back to EPConnect Setup.

9.If you haven't yet, be sure to define your Account Request Notifications.
