A Yearly Budget tracks income/expense from all financial items with Item Dates that fall within the set Budget Periods, regardless of which Events the Financial Items are linked to.

Remember that a Yearly Budget is different from an Event Budget (which tracks all financial items linked to a particular Event, regardless of the Item Dates of the financial items). You can track either or both kinds of Budgets.
