1.Do Not Contact By: The "Do Not Contact By" selections will prevent EventPro Users from contacting this Contact by certain communication methods.
The "Do Not Contact By" setting is primarily relevant for email communications. For example, if you attempt to send an email to a recipient you have marked to not contact by email, you will receive a warning that the email recipient chose not to receive communications of this type.
a.Use Parent Do Not Contact By: Select this checkbox if you want to use the same "Do Not Contact By" options as the Contact's Company. Remember, the Contact must have a linked Company for this option. If you select this checkbox, you will not be able to manually choose "Do Not Contact By" options.
b.Manually Set Do Not Contact By: Ensure that the Use Parent Addresses checkbox is not selected. Open the drop-down list and select the checkboxes next to the communication methods you do not want to use for this Contact, and click OK. You created these communication methods in EventPro Setup > Communications > Communication Methods.
2.Correspondence Preference: Select the Contact's preferred method of correspondence from the Correspondence Preference drop-down, which is populated by the records set up in EventPro Setup > Communications > Communication Methods.
3.Alternate Contact: To set an alternate contact for this Contact, select a contact from the drop-down list, which displays the existing contacts in your CRM database. Use the Find field if you need to search for a specific contact.
4.Auto CC Alternate Contact: Select this checkbox if you want the alternate contact's email address to default into the CC field in communications you create for this Contact.
Note that if you also set a Default CC Address in Communications System Settings, this Alternate Contact's email address will override the default CC address from Setup System Settings.
