As noted in the topic Event Location Floor Plans, you can add Setup Items to an Event Booked Location through linked Floor Plan Objects.
1.In this example, we are creating an Event Location Floor Plan. (You can review the instructions in the topic Event Location Floor Plans.)
2.Along the left side of the Floor Plan Designer, we have selected the Setup Shapes Library, because we know that we previously linked certain Objects in this Library to Resource Setup Items.

3.The "Table 8' LINK" objects have previously been linked to Setup Items. We will drag and drop 10 of those linked Table objects onto the Floor Plan.

4.Save and close the Floor Plan Designer to return to the Event Location Floor Plan edit form.
5.Back in the Event Location Floor Plan edit form, if we look under the Floor Plan Objects tab, we can see the quantity of Objects added to the floor plan, and whether they are linked to Setup Items. In this situation, we have only added the ten tables so far.

6.Save and close the Event Location Floor Plan edit form to return to the Event screen.
7.Back in the Event screen, we are looking under the Setup tab for the Event Location to which we just added the Floor Plan. As you see, 10 of the Table Setup Items have been added, since they are linked to the Floor Plan Objects.

8.Now, we are returning the Event Location Floor Plan, and opening the Floor Plan Designer again in order to change which Objects are used in the Floor Plan.
a.We have added 32 of the "Banq Chair Stack LINK" objects, which are linked to banquet chair Setup Items.
b.We have removed 6 of the "Table 8' LINK" objects, leaving only 4. This will affect the quantities back in the Event Location's Setup tab.
c.We have also added 2 arm chairs and 1 coffee table, but these Objects are not linked to Setup Items, so they will not affect the Event Location's setup details.

9.Once again, save and close the Floor Plan Designer to return to the Event Location Floor Plan edit form.
10.Back in the Event Location Floor Plan edit form, under the Floor Plan Objects tab, we can see that the list of objects has changed. It now includes the newly added objects, and the updated quantity for tables. As you see, some of the objects are linked to setup items, and others are not.

11.Save and close the Event Location Floor Plan edit form to return to the Event screen.
12.In the Event screen, we can see that the Event Location's Setup tab has been updated with the addition of 32 linked Banquet Chairs, and the removal of all but 4 linked Tables. The Arm Chairs and Coffee Table added to the Floor Plan have not been added to the Setup tab, since they are not linked Objects/Items.
