You can add Resources to your Event under six categories: Setup, Staffing, Catering, Beverages, Packages, and Miscellaneous.
Before you begin, you need to have Resources set up in your EventPro Setup database. Review EventPro Setup > Resources.
You may have already added resources to your event while in the Event Creation Wizard. However, if you have not yet added Resources to your event, or you want to edit the existing set of resources, you can do so in the Event screen.
If the event contains a single Booked Location, you will only need to add one set of resources. However, if there are multiple Booked Locations in your event, you may need to add resource details to each.
There are several different ways to add Event Resources.
Adding Resources to Multiple Locations:
•Copy Resources to Multiple Event Locations
•Add Multi Resources to Multiple Event Locations
Adding Resources to Single Location:
•Copy Resources to One Event Location
•Add Multi Resources to One Event Location
•Move Resources to One Event Location
•Add a Resource to One Event Location
•Add Setup Resources via Floor Plan
You can add Resources to Itinerary within Event Locations, which is a similar process, but requires some attention to ensure you are not accidentally doubling up event resources.
If you are assigning resources to multiple events, conflicts may occur.
Staffing and Miscellaneous resource items are unique, in that they do not need to be assigned to Event Locations, like Setup, Catering and Beverage resources. Staffing and Miscellaneous resources have their own tabs under Event Detail for this reason.
