In the New Exhibitor Registration area, you will define the online wizard that exhibitors will use to enter their contact information, select registrations, reserve booths, upload documents, and more.
When you first create the New Exhibitor Registration Area Definition, the pages will already be set up with default page definitions, form fields, settings, etc., although you will be able to customize the Area Definition in several ways.
The New Exhibitor Registration area definition that you create here, under EPConnect Setup, will be the default setup for exhibitor registration. However, you can also customize the New Exhibitor Registration area for each different event, if you want. Review the topic Area Definitions under Event Management / Edit Event Window / Online Registration Settings.
If you don't define an event-specific New Exhibitor Registration area, the event will use the New Exhibitor Registration settings defined here in EPConnect Setup.
Even though this area definition refers to "New" exhibitor registration, the online wizard that you define here may be used by Exhibitors to both create new registrations and edit existing registrations (if you allow editing).
•If the Exhibitor starts a New Exhibitor Registration from the website menu, or follows a EPConnect New Exhibitor Link, they will be directed to the "Adding Exhibitor" version of the wizard. The wizard pages will have the "Adding Exhibitor" header.
•If the Exhibitor chooses the Review Exhibitor Registration option from the website menu, or follows an EPConnect Exhibitor Link that allows them to edit their registrations, they will be directed to the "Editing Exhibitor" version of the wizard. The wizard pages will have the "Editing Exhibitor" header.
Whether the Exhibitor is working through the Adding Exhibitor or Editing Exhibitor version of the registration wizard, the pages will be almost identical because they are controlled by the same Page Definitions in this area.
The only difference is the hard-coded header ("Adding Exhibitor" or Editing Exhibitor"), and there may be some additional buttons at the bottom of Editing Exhibitor wizard pages.
If the New Exhibitor Registration Area Definition is already in the Area Definitions tab, double-click it to open the edit form.
Or, if not already present, add the New Exhibitor Registration Area Definition.
In EventProConnect Setup, click the New button at the top of the Area Definitions tab.

The New Exhibitor Registration Area Definition is more complex than the Exhibitors Area Definition, as you are defining the multiple pages of the online registration wizard.

When you have finished defining everything you need in the New Exhibitor Registration Area Definition edit form, ensure that you Save and Close the form.
