1.The Accommodation Group Booking Creation Wizard often begins with Group Booking Type.

The Group Booking Type field may already be set to the selection you made last time you ran the wizard. This depends on the Remember Wizard Settings field in your Security User settings. See the topic Options under Create New User.

2.Select the radio button next to the option you want to use and click Next.

a.Group Booking for an Event: If you select this option, the next wizard page will be Group Booking Event Selection.

b.Group Booking not associated with an Event: If you select this option, the next wizard page will be Room Selection, unless you started the wizard from the Lodging Calendar using the "New Group Booking from Selected Rooms/Dates" command.

i.If you started the booking with the "New Group Booking from Selected Rooms/Dates" command from the Lodging Calendar, the wizard will go to the Group Booking Information page next, since you already selected the Rooms from the calendar.

3.NOTE: You will not see this Group Booking Type page if:

a.You started the booking process from an Event, as the Event will already be selected. If you start the group booking from an Event, the wizard will begin on the Room Selection page.

b.You started the booking process with either "Append To" option from the Lodging Calendar, since the Event option was already selected or not when the original group booking was created. If you are appending rooms to an existing group booking, the wizard begins with the Group Booking Selection page.
