EventPro Software User Manual

1.Addresses (Primary Address, Billing Address & Alternate Address):

a.Use Parent Addresses: Select this checkbox if you want to use the Parent Company's addresses for this company. Obviously, the company must actually have a parent company in order for this option to be available. You will not be able to manually add address information if you select this checkbox, as the fields will be pulling the information from the parent company.

b.To manually enter the addresses for the company, click the ellipse next to the field to open the Address edit form.

Fill in the address information.  The City, State and Country must be selected from a drop-down list, which is populated by the records entered in EventPro Setup under General > Countries, States/Provinces and Cities.  

Click OK when you are done entering the address to return to the Company edit form.

2.Phones (Primary, Mobile, Other & Fax):

a.Use Parent Phones: Select this checkbox if you want to use the Parent Company's phone numbers for this company. Remember, the company must actually have a parent company for this option. You will not be able to manually add phone numbers if you select this checkbox, as the fields will be pulling the information from the parent company.

b.To manually enter the phone numbers, type in the numbers in the applicable phone fields.

3.Email (Primary Email & Alternate Email):

a.Use Parent Emails: Select this checkbox if you want to use the Parent Company's email addresses for this company. Remember, the company must have a parent company for this option. You will not be able to manually add email addresses if you select this checkbox, as the fields will be pulling the information from the parent company.

b.To manually add email addresses, type the email addresses in the applicable fields.

c.A company can have multiple email addresses associated with it. Type in the multiple email addresses separated by semi-colons.

d.About the Alternate Email Address: One potential use of the Alternate Email address is for creating mail merges sent by Fax.  Some internet service providers can provide faxing capabilities or you may be able to configure your email server to send and receive faxes.  Enter the applicable fax/email information in this field if you want to later use it for sending fax campaigns.
