1.What is my Client I.D. number?

1A.Refer to the topic EventPro - About.

 

2.The manual shows a field or tab that I don't have in my EventPro.  Why can't I see that?

2A.Refer to the topic What You Can See and Do.

 

3.Why did the online manual table of contents and other links stop working? They were fine a moment ago.

3A.Try refreshing the webpage. If you are viewing the manual in a desktop browser, you can press F5 to refresh.

 

4.How do I change my password?

4A.Refer to the topic Adjust My Details & Appearance.

 

5.I can't see the commands across the top of the window, like "New", "Clone", "Delete", etc. Where did they go?

5A.The ribbon may be minimized. See the topic Navigation and User Interface / Ribbon.

 

6.There are events missing from my Event List. Where are they?

6A.Check if there is a Filter set on the window.  Filters stay on even if you close a tab, and need to be manually cleared. See the topics Selection Grids / Column Header Filter and Selection Grids / Grid Filter.

 

7. There are events missing from my Venue Calendar. Where are they?

7A.If the events were just booked, try EventPro's Refresh button. Also review the topic Control Panel Filter to check for unselected items.

 

8.How do I copy the resources from one event to another?

8A.Refer to the topic Event Management / Organize Event Resources / Copy Resources to Multiple Locations.

 

9.How do I lock down an event to prevent more changes?

9A.Refer to the topic Event Management / Edit Commands / Set Lock Level.

 

10. Why can't I delete an event location that is set to "Cancelled" status?

10A. Even though the status is named "Cancelled", make sure that its Status Type is set to "Cancelled" in Setup. Refer to the topic EventPro Setup / Events / Event Statuses.

 

11.How do I change the color coding for CRM Company Contacts?

11A. Refer to the topic Contact Color Options in CRM System Settings.

 

12.How can I set up future rates & prices to automatically take effect on a certain date?

12A. Refer to the topic EventPro Setup / Effective Dates.

 

13.How do I update or re-authenticate my email account?

13A. Refer to the topic Users / Create New User / Email Accounts under Security Setup.

 

14.Why aren't my emails showing formatted text, like bolding and italics?

14A. Check if your email account's Default Message Format setting has been set to HTML. Refer to the topic Users / Create New User / Email Accounts under Security Setup.

 

15.How do I send a bulk email to multiple recipients at once?

15A. Refer to the topic Communication & Email Management / Mail Merge Wizard.

 

16.Why are my printed reports not formatting for the size of paper I use?

16A. Check the Standard Report Paper Kind system setting in the topic General System Settings under EventPro Setup.

 

17.Where did my Letter Templates go? They used to be under Setup / Communications.

17A. Letter Templates and Internal Documents are now managed under the Document Management area.

 

18.My program times out too quickly. How do I change the length of time before auto-logout?

18A. See the Idle Timeout system setting in the topic General System Settings under EventPro Setup.

 

19.Why can't I create or edit Virtual Assistants? The buttons are greyed out.

19A. If you're sure you have the correct security permissions, remember to stop the Virtual Assistant Service before adding or editing Assistants. Refer to the topic Virtual Assistant Setup / Start & Stop VirtualAssistant Service.
